Richard H. Hammond has lived in Beavercreek for over 50 years and has
been very active in the community, including serving on the orginal
Charter Commission. He is a member of the Public Service Committee and
has also served for several years as a member and legal counsel for the
Beavercreek Education Foundation, he is a member of the Greene County
Car Club (President, 2008), and he is a participant in the Volunteer
Lawyer Project of Greater Dayton. Mr. Hammond is an active member of
the Silver Star Lodge, Knights of Pythias, Greene County Antique and
Classic Car Club, and Tri State Chapter Studebaker Drivers Club. Mr.
Hammond has acted as an Assistant Ohio Attorney General 1969-1970,
Bellbrook City Prosecutor, Acting Judge for Fairborn Municipal Court,
Arbitrator Greene County Common Pleas Court and Montgomery County Common
Pleas Court. Mr. Hammond has been in private practice with Shannan,
Wimer, Shulman & Ziegler 1971-1976, Shulman, Fury, Hall & Hammond
1976-1985, and Hammond, Stier & Stadnicar 1986 to present.
